I love the look of strapless dresses and I'm getting married in August. My MOH is a little hesitant because she heard they're always falling down and a pain to deal with. We havent ordered yet but we're getting Bill Levkoff #310. Has anyone had that problem?
my girls had strapless bill levkoff---and there was never a problem all day long.
dresses can fall if they arent altered properly. if they are worried---you can always ask the seamstress to sew 'anchors' into the dress that hooks into your bra and keeps it up
look at my review and you can see the anchors i'm talking about--they were great with my wedding dress!

Re: Strapless bridesmaids dresses
My seamstress veclroed my bra into the dress. My dress was a corset back, but since I am fairly well endowed, I also wore a mid line strapless bra. That was so great because it kept the bodice flat against my chest with NO gaping, and there was none of that sliding from side to side.
Ask the seamstress what can be done. All depends upon the fabric also.

My girls wore strapless gowns by Impressions
if the girls are uncomfortable they can put the little straps on that come with the dress

I CANT SEE WHY IT WOULD BE A PROBLEM IF THEY FIT THE GIRLS PROPERLY

It won't fall if it is taken in properly. I've worn a strapless dress as a bridesmaid three times already and never did I feel there was a problem. It as better than having to fix my strap that kept falling down

As long as the dress is tight enough it shouldn't be able to fall down. My wedding gown was strapless and I didn't have a problem with it. My seamstress also sewed in hooks that that tucked into my bra to help keep the dress in place.

my girls wore bill levkoff - absolutely NO problems! of course they had a different dress, but still strapless... all my girls made sure the seamstress made the gowns TIIIGHT. Our seamstress told us 'when tight feels too tight, that's when it's right'...because the material can/will stretch & give throughout the day. My girls were 200% absolutely fine. AND they all had huge boobs too lol.

ur bm gowns also look like they're sinched at the waist...this gives even more support. of course again it depends on the fabric & the seamstress but i think they should be fine what bridal shop are u ordering through??

Re: Strapless bridesmaids dresses
My bridesmaids are wearing strapless dresses also. I had them all try on the dresses and they all loved them and so far seem to have no problems. I've worn a few strapless dresses for parties, and as long as the dress fits properly, you should have no problem. If its a tiny bit big, they can always have it altered to fit. I think your BMs will look gorgeous in that dress!

My girls wore BL strapless dresses...no problems with anyone them-they did stretch a little but that is going to happen with any dress. I had girls of all sizes and not a problem

Mine were in a strapless Impression (891) gown. They were all fitted perfectly and none of them had a problem. It is all in how it fits and how the alterations are done (if any).
