Hey girls! Happy New Year!! I just had a question about strapless dresses in a Catholic Church...does anyone know if thats not allowed? I just heard that from someone that I work with and now I'm freaking out because I really don't wanna wear something over my shoulders in the middle of the summer.
Thanks!

They don't care what you wear they just want your money!
so sad but SO TRUE!
Just the fact that they make you pay for their musicians even when you're not using them! What if there wasn't a wedding even scheduled that day? Think the church even pays them? Puhleaze!!!

Re: strapless dress.
my MOH got married in june and they wanted her to have something on her shoulders. so she got removable lace straps added. It was a nice touch.

Re: strapless dress.
You have to ask, there are some that still require you to cover up, at that doesnt necessarily mean 'cover' up. You can have straps put in temporarily just for the ceremony. Most have done away with it b/c strapless is so popular that its an annoyance.

Re: strapless dress.
Check with the church just to be sure, but I know they're allowed at the Catholic church where I'm getting married. My SIL wore a strapless gown and she was married in the same church. Most churches probably don't have a problem with it, but I'd double check to be sure.
