Beth just got married in Nov in a strapless dress....I think her screen name is nov04libride and she was married at Timber Point also look for peabody..she was married Oct 1 in a strapless dress

I was strapless in March and I had my MIL make a cape for me, but it ended up being unseasonably warm that day

i think a nice wrap that matches your gown would be lovely or the cape idea... you want to be able to drape it on and throw it off when you want to...jmho

I got married outside in November in a strapless dress! I had a faux fur jacket that I wore on and off while taking pictures, but I didn't wear it during the ceremony because I wanted to show off my dress. I tried the cape type ones but I didn't feel they were as flattering as the tighter-fitting jacket I decided on. Good luck!

ETA: I didn't really feel the cold AT ALL! I was so nervous/excited that it could have been freezing outside and I wouldn't have noticed!

My dress isn't strapless, but it has a tank style top, and I'm wearing an ivory fox stole with a satin ribbon, draped over my shoulders. The only pic I have though is of it hanging on a clothes rack. Not so great. Sorry...

I found these on the web. Even though they aren't dressed as brides you can get an idea. I LOVE the fur idea.

I got married in November, wound up getting an ivory pashmina (my gown was ivory) just to throw over me when I was outside. I also found a pretty ivory sweater that I could put over my shoulders (very 1940's-50's looking), so I had two choices.
Guess what? I wound up wearing NEITHER- my adrenaline kept me warm on that 48* day!!! I went strapless the entire day- even on the beach!!!

I got married in early October. It was such a beautiful day that we didn't need cover ups. However, since that time of the year is unpredictable, I planned for a chill. I made shawls for my BMs and my mother's friend made a shawl for me. (I knit, I don't crochet- so I couldn't make the one I wanted.)

We were wearing the shawls in some early pictures. There are some in the early part of my photo album.

i agree about the adrenaline keeping in on your wedding day. the day i was married it was 6 degrees i had a velvet coat to over my strapless dress and was sooo hot everyone thought i was crazy i had the coat opned up when we were outside

I had a shawl for y strapless and never even put it on-

I love those capelets (lace, fur or whatever) they are an elegant touch

My GF got married on this past Halloween and the girls had strapless dresses. Believe it or not but all we wore were sheer shawls! It was so nice out that we were completely comfortable.

haha: Actually I'm borrowing a fox stole from my FMIL. It has special meaning since FH's Dad gave it to her and he's deceased.

I can show you pictures in 2 mths!!

My girlfriend just got married Dec. 4th, she wore a white chincilla that she got off ebay...
