Not sure, because I would love to wear long or chandelier earrings, so it has to be one or the other.

That's what I'm thinking. The model for my dress isn't wearing anything and I think I like that look but wasn't sure if it'd look too plain.

I just want to say that your gown is very beautiful.

I wore a necklace and my gown was a heavly beaded bodice. Why don't you try a necklace on and see if it looks good and try different types too.

I wanted to wear a necklace but it really depends on the dress. Mine has so much sparkle on the top, it wouldnt look right with a necklace.

What about just wearing dangling earrings and no necklace? Not too big, but long enough that you can see them.

Hard decisions!!! I'd have to buy something to wear. Wonder if I could buy something for a try on and then bring it back to the store with the tags if I don't like the way it looks. Is that awful?

no not awful - I'm sure it can be done. I've heard people wearing dresses to parties and the returning them. But just double check the stores return policy.

Can you try the place where you bought your dress? Maybe they have some jewerly.

Unfortunately I'm buying it from houseofbrides.com so I can't really. I guess I'll just wait until it comes in to try it on again and see what I think then.

I didn't answer the poll because I think it depends on what your dress looks like.

My dress is strapless and has a lot of beadwork on the top so I'll probably skip the necklace. However, I think if your dress is plain you should wear one.

I voted for no necklace because that is what I am doing but it does depend on your dress. the top of my dress has lace so instead of a necklace, I am going to wear small, drop pearl earings. It really is a personal decision!

I am wearing a pretty pearl necklace that has two butterflies that meet at the middle that I got for my birthday from my FMIL.

I think that you could go either way...

I am not..I have the embroidery at the top of my dress and i don't want to take away from that..
But i got a sparkly tiara and earings!
