Re: strapless dresses

I thought the same thing and almost bought a strapless. I couldnt believe how it didnt fall down! The bodice was so snug it wasnt going anywhere. I just happened to fall in love with a different dress and now am second guessing my decision..

Come to think of it, i've never seen a bride pulling up her dress when it was strapless...after all the alterations it'll be just fine!

I know what you mean. I am getting a strapless, but having a halter sewn in...b/c my chest is big and i will be conscious. but everyone says if it is tailored correctly you won't be pulling it up...

I agree if it altered right you should have no problem. My dress is strapless and has a corset back so I know it will not be going anywhere.

My friend wore a strapless gown and was pulling it up ALL night!! Doesn't look right!

Mine was strapless and I never had to pull it up. A good seamstess will make sure it will be tight enough but not uncomfortable. I also had cups sewn into my dress.

My gown was strapless and I had no problem having it stay up.

Re: strapless dresses

You know what I was dead set against a strapless dress. And guess what I ended up getting (this was second dress I bought for my wedding) a strapless dress.

I was fine and very comfortable (I have no boobs). I love my dress and so happy I ended up with this one and not my first one.

My advice is try on anything that interests you and all different styles.
