i'm going strapless, so i'm biased, but i've heard both are comfortable.
and i think strapless works nicely on large-busted women....although i am not one of them.....

I personally think strapless is more flattering.

I was actually going to go with off the shoulder but I fell in love with a strapless. My advice: go with the gown that makes you feel more beautiful; don't so much worry about style!

I started strapless but feel in love with an off the shoulder gown. It just fit my shape better (I'm have a large chest too). You have to try them on and see what you like.

My dress is off the shoulder and I am getting nervous that I might be uncomfortable all day. I might see if they can remove my straps. But I agree that you should go with whatever dress you feel great in!!

At first I wanted off the shoulder because I am self concious of my arms. But then I tried on the strapless, and I LOVE IT!!! It was a lot more comfortable.. Go with what you want more, and what makes you comfortable.. I just tried on both and sat in both and lifted my arms up and down, to see which one I liked better, and strapless definately won.. GOOD LUCK

IMO I think off the shoulder is better. Especially if your gifted in the chest area. Reason being that you do not want to tug at your dress all night. I was feeling very bare on top when I tried on the strapless but that is just me. My gown is off the shoulder and I love it. As far as the confined feeling I was told that if the dress is tailored correctly it should be fine.

Bottom line : Go with what makes you feel good

I'm going strapless, it was surprisingly very comfortable, it's a corset back which helped it to be more secure. Two of my friends had off the shoulder and they said they wished they hadn't chosen them.

Mine is off the shoulder and when I tried it on, I had no problems moving my arms around. Try on both and see which one flatters you most.

I have a DD cup - and I chose strapless. It's MUCH better moving around if you get a pretty good strapless corset. (Goddess makes the BEST ones, btw)
I got a lot of compliments on my dress.
I just feel off the shoulder is too constricting, JMO.

My MOH has a large chest so when she got married she chose a gorgeous off the shoulder that minimized her size! the probelm, teh whole night the straps were annonying her so mid way through the reception, she had a tank dress. Her dress came in a tank version, she said had she have known how annoying it would be she would have just gotten the tank version to begin with!

I have heard that off the shoulder dresses are incredibly uncomfortable b/c you can never put your arms all teh way up (ie: for dancing, etc...) and that you are always tugging at them all night....
I had a strapless and was very comfortable...and I not small in the chest area either....

Can't afford that to happen, mine has straps. I wouldn't feel comfy in either I don't think.

34D--and strapless---I love the look and have never had problems with a stapless dress

My prom dress was off the shoulder. It ripped when I went to hug my mom goodbye - and I had purchased it and had the alterations done by Kleinfelds, so you know the seamstress was decent, even if she was the worst on their staff (which she wasn't). I'd go with a strapless.
