Check out Mya @ Cosmetic Artistry. I booked her for my hair a few weeks ago and I loved my trial. She's pretty reasonably priced too. She's a vendor on here and I believe her site lists prices. You'll be very pleasantly surprised.

$100! I'll be stopping by Bellmore on my way out there - maybe $40 if I'm unlucky and I'd be getting THE 'updo queen'. Shop around girlie!

Better yet - stop using the word 'wedding' with the hair dresser's - say you have a party to go to, betchya it'll be much more reasonable, especially for us BM's. Saw that on some news special about how to save money on your wedding.

Shop around for someone more reasonable and I thought a trial should be a replica of the real thing, it shold have survived the trip home at least.

those prices are crazy but I do recommend Mya from Cosmetic Artistry. I'm having a trial soon but she already did my makeup and I loved it.

How long is your hair? I have this problem: The paper says $40 for a trial, $75-$100 day of, depending on your hair. They see me, and the price doubles or even triples, I have never in my life gotten my hair done for under $150. My prom, and my sweet 16, both over $200

My hair comes down to my mid-back.

My hair is just about to my waist...I would ask look around, see what other people would charge you, and ask her if she charges everyone that price, or just you because your hair is long, then I would make a decision, you still have plenty of time, so dont stress out too much
