stress like whoa for bride like whoa...

i think im about to have a breakdown...

my wedding is 16 days away...still waiting for placecards to come in the mail so i can get those done. still have to make up table lists/ guests lists for hall.

rehearsal dinner is one week from tonight..still dont have everything bought for that.

im waiting on my flower sticks for my bm;'s to arrive. and also waiting on my second order of gable boxes since the 1st ones i did got ruined in the flood in my basement with all that rain last thurs!

i still have to do my aisle runner and put to gether all the BP gifts. and FH has to decide on one more present for the GM. andddd..last nite he decided that ,yes, he DOES want to get his parents a 'thank you 'gift for the wedding...my gifts for my parents have been purchased for months. i'm going to scream & then pass out & die.

sorry....had to complain to someone.....


ohhh... and by the way... i decided to DUMP my hair girl....its ok...i have a whole two weeks until my wedding right?

she was stringing me along & then tried to make me come in at 7:45am for my 3pm wedding so i went elsewhere.

I feel the same way as you. My wedding is the week after yours and I am starting to feel the pressure of trying to get all these last minute things done. I just want to scream. I was tossing and turning last night. I am soooo stressed. And FH is just fine!

once this is all over, THEN i will believe you...but until thennnnn....

this is a bridal right of passage...... EVERYONE has a meltdown sometime in the month prior to the wedding..... and it's usually over the exact things you mention....

mine was pretty bad. it was over printing placecards, and making seating changes 10 times.... and then the ribbons attaching the starfish to the placecards unraveling 10 times.... and my final dress fittings were a bit stressful too

it will be fine.... everything will come together for you. Also, if minor things aren't completely done, I promise you, no one will even realize it, so don't stress!

I am the queen of being nerotic and somehow I am quite calm now, everythign will get done.

Okay--now that I have your attention. First, relax. You're at the point in the wedding planning process that you should be clearing your plate of things to do, not adding.
So, if FH wants presents for his parents, that's now his job. You should look at what is on your 'must do' list and reshuffle them by priority. Don't kill yourself these last two weeks. This is supposed to be fun.
Finally, I have a bunch of extra gable boxes that I wasn't able to use. They're brown. Let me know if you want them.
