One of my girls, I had trouble with her going to see what size she would be in the dress. She kept coming up with excuses. THen while with moh on Monday, I found out that she(bm) was had to get in touch with regarding planning the shower. SHe didn't seem like she wanted to be part of that, whatever everyone will do is fine with her. This week she's off, so I thought she would go for her dress. SHe said she needs to rest since she was sick monday and the kids at school get her sick. She only has a cold. THe soonest she could get a dress is towards the end of May. She didn't want to hold everyone up so she dropped out. THen I found out from my sister, that the only money the bm could put in for the shower is for herself. Whne I heard that I couldn't believe. Divabride and hbradio hit it on the button...when you plan a wedding you really see how people are. When I was a bm in her wedding party, her mother and mil did everything. I just showed up.
THis do happen for a reason.

I'm sorry to hear that. My FSIL did that too. Dropped out! She said she couldnt afford it, but I KNOW thats not true. Oh well. I'll surely get over it. After that I decided to slim down my BP to 2 on each side. Why do I need all of them anyway? It's so much easier with less. Good Luck &

yes she dropped out. i called david's bridal to see when the latest the orders could be processes they said the weekend since it takes 8 weeks for the dress to come in. she was coming up with all sorts of excuses why shouldn't go and get sized. i didn't want this stress. she didn't want to hold everyone up, so she thought it would be best to step down.
i have this saying and my friends agree with it...if someone wants to do something or be somewhere they'll find a way to do it. maybe she didn't want to be in the bp, who knows
