Is anyone else stressed about $$$$$? Today I am feeling so overwhelmed. We bought a home this past July and we are paying for the wedding ourselves. The closer we get to the wedding the more nervous I am getting about not having enough money. I know everyone says you find ways and make it happen but I am so feeling so nervous lately (and so absolutely broke).
I was just looking at my wedding budget spread sheet and feeling the same way!
Yes, I am stressed about money the most out of all things. I can't believe we are spending this much one day, which will go by super fast! My parents are paying for the reception part of it and we have to pay the rest, but it is still a lot and FH doesn't make that much money!! I am so stressed
Yea I am definitely stressed out about the money. I am tracking everything we spend and we are currently under budget which is awesome, but its still a lot of money we are spending!!
Thanks so much ladies it makes me feel better. I have everything all laid out and most days I think we are good but then I start to think about last minute expenses or tips for everyone and I get nervous it's just so much $$.
I do the same thing! Some days I’m like we’ve got this!! Then today after making a payment to our venue, I tallied up what is still due and I’m like OMG we haven’t made a dent in what we owe. And I still need to get bridal party and parent gifts. I keep seeing cute things to buy and I’m like I can’t buy those before paying off (pick a vendor). There was a good month where all I did was worry about the budget and could not sleep. I’ll truly enjoy the wedding once everything is paid.

I can't quote anyone lol but I agree with you all! My advice for my friends that are getting married is to put more money down! It's definitely scary to owe all of that money in June! In the beginning, I would text FH all these cute add ons and he would say buy it! Now he's like no no no!! Hahaha
It is so stressful! We just dropped video because we didn't add tips to our budget and that alone is another $1500 so we had to cut corners somewhere. It is tough but somehow it works out.

This whole tip thing i think is so crazy.....We are paying people all this money and still have to tip on top of that seems so absurd. The bridal attendent and stuff like that I get otherwise ugh lol

Never mind that I cant tell you the last movie we saw at the movies or went out to dinner. I knew it would be hard with the house and the wedding but wow...
I do the same thing! But try to I go over my budget and spreadsheets whenever I feel I need reassurance. When it becomes too overwhelming I just put it aside and say. 'I'll deal with this later' and press forward! it's all you can do lol
I have had moments where I am completely freaking out about money, especially in the beginning. I never actually sat down and did a budget, I just went full steam into planning. The thing that worries me now is that it seems like a lot of people we weren't expecting to come are making plans to be there!!! I was planning for 120-130 people and I think now it's going to be closer to 150!!!! When I think about that I freak out about the money...My dad keeps telling me I'm fine, that I have enough.
