STRESSED about the Dress

This dress has everything that I want - I LOVE it!!!!!! Plus it's comfortable!
But there is one BIG problem - that belt is lower than it looks (because I folded the dress to where I want the belt) but the problem is that there is a seem under the belt and to move that seem they basically have to re-make the dress.

It is an Enzoani, and the bridal salon called Enzoani and they will not make the adjustment - so I would have to Pray that the seamstress can basically remake this dress. I'm so sad.

it's a beautiful dress...it probably is dropped waist and based on someone 5'10' lol.

They may be able to do it...

The dress is beautiful and looks great on you!

I would think a good seamstress would know how to make it work - maybe you can bring them the pictures and see what they think?

If the seamstress didn't look worried, then I think you're going to be ok! Even if it's weird when they finish it, you'll have the fittings to correct the off things you know?

That dress looks AMAZING on you.
How did the seamstress react when you asked about the changes? Maybe they've done this a bunch of times and can take care of it easily.

the dress is beautiful and looks stunning on you. i think you should get it becasue if you could have folded it like that, there's no reason y a seamstress can't alter it for u

Thanks girls I am blushing

That is the problem, I have taken these photo's along with the photo of the dress with me to 2 other bridal salons and the seamstresses at all of the salons said that 'they could do it, but it's a lot of work - AND maybe I should keep looking for another dress'

Hmm...maybe post something about specifically looking for a great seamstress on the BHB and 09 Brides boards? Maybe someone has had a similar situation and can recommend a fantastic seamstress for you?
The great thing is, you've still got some time to research if this is feasable!

Did you ask them if its a drop waist??? Maybe once it comes in the right size it will be where its supposed to be - maybe they at least know that?

OMG that dress is really beautiful! I take it you thought it looked bad with the belt lower? I would keep looking and maybe you can find something like that one and that way you wont have to worry about having it remade...?
