stressed-job related

so, a few of you know i want to do a cardiology residency. I work at a ER clinic b/c it gives me flexibility to spend time with a cardiologist to improve my chances. I usually work mon, tues, wed and then 3 weekend days a month with mon-friday for one week a month. so i work nights which isn't the best for us, but FH knows that this is important to me.

anyway, i asked my boss for time off in dec to visit residency places which i did last yr. got an e-mail back that due to the economy (ie. not making alot of money) they want to swicth my schedule to tues, sat and sunday. I have no want to work every weekend, but feel i have no choice...and of course i get this bombshell while FH is off to Poland to go to a friends wedding this weekend and will not be back until very late Monday. and i will work with my boss on sat..(she emailed me)..
AHH!!! i am really stressed.

sorry hopefully this bump in the road is very short lived

I am sorry... We are having a lot of 'structural changes' at my company too so I know what you are going though!
