Stressed Out !!

so im mostly a lurker- i do read the boards almost daily, but dont post that often-- but today im stressed to the limit.

First, my dress that is being made for me -was promised to be done by the end of april (so i will have time to redo it or have some sort of back up before the big day)- well today im informed that they decided to work on confirmation dresses instead and mine will be ready around the middle of may-- i dropped off all the designs and fabric in january!!!!!) I am so frustrated and my mother seemed to think it was all fine-- I am so nervous that this place keeps lying to me about when things are going to be done - whats going to happen if i see my dress and it looks terrible!!! I am seriously freaking out and my mother just thinks that i am mad and her and overreacting.

Aww honey! That can be one of the most stressful parts. Do you have a contract with the place guranteeing a delivery date? Even if it is finished in May you will still have two months before the wedding for alterations. My dress is in and I am not starting altertaions until July and my wedding is before yours. More because I definitely understand why you are stressed and the place you are having it made def. needs to stick to the timeline they promised you!

I would be stressed too. Especially, since they gave you a timeline on when it should be done but decided on working on confirmation dresses instead.
I'm sure it will all work out, but you definitely have a right to be mad.
Try not to stress to much (easily said than done, believe me I know!)
