Stressful Week, Need Hugs.

Ugh.

I'm having a stressful week!

My poor little doggie broke out in some terrible skin problem almost overnight--red oozy patches. I have to take her to the vet today and see what's up. She was supposed to have some tests soon (expensive ones!), but now I have to see what this is first. I can't imagine how much this is all going to be...

On top of that, I just got a call from my office, and they are requiring EVERYONE to upgrade to Windows XP. The problem is, my computer has been upgraded to its limit, and still doesn't have enough memory or power to run Windows XP. So now I have to buy a new computer before November 15!!

All of this is happening when I'm supposed to move (within two weeks).

AND.... I have PMS.

I just wanna hide....

Just try and relax, maybe take a bath (if you even have time )

Take each task one at a time and as you start to cross things off, you will feel better!

As for your computer, check out Dell. They have GREAT deals and if you do a search at Google.com for Dell coupons you can sometimes get $150 off the purchase price. Dell is always having free shippiung or free upgrades!!

I second Lisa Rose's suggestion to go Dell. I just got a computer for my birthday and not only did DH get a great deal but his research indicates it's an excellent product.

He got a great discount through his company, otherwise I would direct you to the discount we got.

I can relate to the doggie problems, mine's got a bladder infection. He leaks urine periodically.

It is totally understandable to be stressed over your dog. My dog recently went for a huge amount of tests and I know how stressful it is emotionally and financially. They are so worth it though.

Like said in other posts, there are some great deals with computers. Once you get set up with what you need you will be ok. I again understand because I have been putting off and putting off upgrading my whole system with my job because I know it is going to be an ordeal, but once I do it I will probably kick myself that I ever worried about it.

I just got back from the vet, and she has some kind of bacterial infection of her skin. So he gave her a shot of antibiotics, and then antibiotic pills to take for two weeks, and I also have to give her a bath every other day with special shampoo! Yeeks.

I'm going to look into the computer thing today, too. I'm sure I'll feel better when it's all taken care of. It just feels like the $$ is flying out the windows all at once!

Cindy, I don't have an exact moving date yet, but it really looks like the second weekend in November is going to be the time. While I'm so happy and excited, at the same time it's sad, too, to leave everything I know behind.

But on to bigger and better things!! And married life.... FINALLY!

Wow, it's finally happenning, you're moving
I remember when you were so stressed b/c you had to wait. Now it's almost here.

Your doggie will be fine, and your computer will be updated, and you will finally be able to fully experience your marriage. YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you work freelance or full-time for the company? If you are an employee then they should provide you with the new system. You should not have to pay for it yourself.

Karen - I am so happy that you have a time frame of when you are moving. You must be so excited. Just in time for the holidays too.

Michele, I work for a company, but I work at home and part of the arrangement is that I'm responsible for all my own equipment.

Cindy, I'm starting to get a tiny bit excited, but I'm still not sure I can trust it...if you know what I mean. I just don't want to feel disappointed again if it doesn't happen.

I'll know for sure soon, though.
