So we sent out the contract along with a deposit to our DJ like 2 weeks ago...I realized yesterday I never heard back from them saying that they got it. I called yesterday and they said they had just moved offices and hadn't gotten mail for 3 or 4 days and were going to the post office to pick up the mail. I just called him back again and he said my contract was not in the mail yesterday but that he was at the post office again and would double check.
The thing is if it got sent two weeks ago it would have been there already, no? I'm getting worried since there's a check in there...I checked and it hasn't cleared yet but I don't want this to be an issue....just talk me off the ledge and tell me everything's gonna be okay lol

worse case scenerio you put a stop on the check and write a new one...no big deal don't worry

I would think that they should have gotten the contract if you sent it two weeks ago. I would maybe give it til the end of the week - beginning of next week, and if they still havent gotten it, then cancel the check and resubmit the contract. No worries - things might be a bit hectic for them if they moved...so I hope they find it!

They should have gotten it by now. Also, the East Rockaway post office rocks! (Representing my home town pride lol, but seriously that is the only post office that actually has competent people working there) I wouldn't be surprised if it got misplaced on the DJ's part. GOOD THING it's a check! You can just place a stop on it, which I think you should do immediately. No worries

If they moved and haven't gotten there mail in 4 days i'm sure they have a huge stack maybe they just didn't see it. If you don't hear from them by next week I would just stop payment on the check!!

worse case scenario it got mixed up while they were changing offices.. no worries, you can always cancel the check..

On the bright side, at least it was a check and not cash. If anything, you can stop the check and re-send another one, or even hand deliver it.
