Stressing out big time and need to vent!!!

Sorry girls--this is a multipule rant! And a much needed one at that!
I just got finished putting together my favours-I'm making 250 ml bottles of rosemary infused olive oil. As I finished them up-I took some out to heat seal them and noticed that the rosemary had mould on it!! All of the bottles are ruined and now I need to order new bottles, buy new oil and get dried rosemary instead of fresh!! I'm sooooo upset-it's taken me all week to do this and a fairly sizeable chunk of $$ as well. ARGHHH!!!!!
And then my second part is-a few weeks back I posted that I didn't think I was going to get a shower. Well-last night I was at my brother-in-laws b-day party and one of the guests says to me, 'So, Alicia! Your shower is going to be my first boy-girl shower!!'. I guess the nice part is I'm going to get one but now the surprise is totally ruined. Why would anyone do that?????

wow, sorry to hear that! not to sound wrong, but be glad it happened now instead of a few days before the wedding.
as for the shower remark, some people don' think, but look at the bright side, at least you know you're getting one!

Where did you get the Rosemary from?
I would want them to replace it for me AND try to get them to reimburse you for everything else.

Just take a deep breathe and you'll get it all done again.

As far as the big mouth guest goes.. she made a mistake, It happens...you will still be surprised ( just tape her mouth closed) lol

Imagine if I gave out mouldy favours???? It's like 'Thanks for coming-here's your bottle of spores...'. UGH!!
The reason why it happened as it turns out-anything with water will grow bacteria when sitting in oil. So the fresh rosemary, even though it was rinsed and thoroughly dried-still contains water since it's fresh. Oh well-at least I learned something, right?
As for the shower-I'll pretend I didn't hear anything! One of my BMs was right there when she said it to me and she said. 'Maybe you've had too much drink and are imagining it!!'.
Thanks again-I'll try and look at the bright side...I just can't believe I have cases of mouldy rosemary sitting in my living room.

don't feel so bad about the shower...at least someone tried to surprise you....

for my shower, not only did noone attempt to make it a surprise, but i was brought in to all the planning and had to order, print out and mail all my shower invites....now i am keeping track of the responses...

don't mean to be ungrateful...i sound more hurt than i am, though...i really am happy that i am even having a shower...
