I havent TOTALLY freaked out yet, but I am on my way there. I just keep thinking about all of the money we have to spend from the wedding to a house to furniture and so on and so on. And with the holidays coming I am FREAKING a bit!!! Anyone else????

money is seriously tight. i am a college senior planning on grad school next fall. the only job i can keep while in school is my job as a childcare teacher which pays very very little. so my fi pays our rent and food, and i pay my bills (car ins, phone, etc). we average get atleast $100 in the wedding fund a week, with bigger chunks here and there, but we are so far from where we need to be. i try not to think about it. i have too much other stuff going on right now with school. we will all make it through it somehow. ~lacey

Tell me about it..if I am at this job that I am at I now when I get married I will not be able to afford to move out of my house...I don't know what I am going to do

Boy I'm in the same boat!! working aprt time while in school so I can't save that much coz I dont make that much!! I wish I was rich!!!!!!!!!

Oh am I stressing about money!!!
I try to take a deep breath and tell myself 'everything will work out'. Fh and I have been arguing about money. I hate it!!!
I don't even want to think about where we are going to live.
Hopefully, it will all fall into place.

Can I join in? We live in an apartment that we HATE and barely have enough money for the wedding, I can't even think of buying a house. I would love to own a home but my bank account is almost wipped out and with the holidays I am considering making those old oven mitts like I did when I was 6 for chirstmas gifts. Seriously this wedding is becoming unfun and costly. I have put off so many things cause we don't have the money for the depoists on things right now. I guess it will get done in the end, hopefully but I know how you all feel.

wow, looks like we all are in the same boat.. my fiance keeps reassuring me that we will be ok.. we are in the process of purchasing a home in Pennsylvania, looking for jobs over there, and the wedding in 4 months...I keep saying, where are we getting all this money???

I was complaining about not having enough money for MU and hair trials, but thats because I don't want to think about whats really going on - today we had no money in checking, and rent is due (forget about a house - that will never happen!) and my car was out of gas!
We had 50.00 lweft in checking, I had to take 40 out of that, so now we have 10 bucks to our name!!! We are still recovering from FH's lay off, plus he took a huge paycut in his new job (but we arent complaining - he was only off for 3 weeks!) he has child support - we budget too but its hard to budget what you don't got!!! The way we sometimes have to budget is prioritize what bills will be paid this month and which ones won't!
I hate this - when does it get easier? I'm 32 years old - I never thought I'd still be doing this at this age - I feel like I'm in college sometimes (which, by the way - I am - in a grad program - oh yeah!) Argh....
I totally relate to the lady that said as soon as she saves money, or tries to, something ELSE happens...
