Stressing - This House buying stuff is crazy

I'm buying a place in CT and we put in a bid yesterday and it was accepted! Only problem is they told us they don't do binders in this town so until this contract is signed people can still snatch it away from us! My realtor told us someone else is seriously looking at this place today. Their 3rd visit and this time with their parents. I'm so stressed to try to get the lawyers to draft this contract and get it signed today but don't think they can work that fast!
I've been a nervious reck all last night and today! The thought of so much $$ going out the door is crazy too! What am I getting myself into!

i understand more than you realize! the best most honest thing i can tell you is that if this is THE house that is meant to be then it will be yours. after more than a year of looking i cannot tell you how amazed i am that we finally got the home that was totally meant to be for us. when i look back at all the homes i thought were it i literally sigh with relief that they didn't come through. we would have missed out on the home we are closing on on friday. we found this house THE DAY another house totally fell through for us. it was total fate. this house will come through for you if it is supposed to be! i wish you all the best and i know that you will wind up where you will be truly happy! good luck!!!

Even when they do take a binder unless both people put their signature on the contract, the deal can fall through! I had a friend who signed the contract and at the last second the seller decided not to sell to them. They got a last minute higher bid. That's crooked real estate practice, but it happens and it's legal. I KNOW its crazy, believe me we JUST bought our house. Hang in there. When its meant to be yours it will work out. And that stinks I know. But You'll be fine!!!
