Hi ladies! Does anyone know if it's possible to stretch silk shoes? I have a pair from Jcrew that I'm obsessed with. I wore them as a BM in my friend's wedding but they match my wedding gown perfectly and I wouldn't have to spend extra $$ if I wear them. They do technically 'fit' but my feet were killing me at the end of the night when I wore them last. I'm not the type to not wear them if they hurt my feet... but if they DIDN'T hurt my feet I would love them even more. Anyone know if a silk pump can be stretched the way a leather shoe can? Any suggestions where I could have that done? I live in Old Bethpage and work in Brookville and Huntington. Thanks for any help!

Re: Stretching shoes?
Not sure if silk can be stretched, but I would call Steve Madden. I know that they stretch the shoes when I buy them from there. Im sure if you buy a pair of shoes there you can ask if they will stretch the pair you have already. Other then there I have no clue.

I've been wearing mine around the house with thick socks on. Seems to be really working!

Re: Stretching shoes?
I bought something once from Target for a pair of shoes that was just a little too snug, and it did work. Look near the shoe section near polishes and stuff.
However, since these are really nice J Crew shoes, I would check with a professional. I use a great shoe guy in Massapequa named Roy. He is in the Waldbaum's parking lot near Petco on Sunrise Hwy. Very reasonably priced, and he has been there forever. He actually cut my heels for my bridal shoes.
