Can anyone recommend companies and offer rates? I'm a little late on this because we're getting married in a church and the organ is beautiful but i think it's a bit harsh and my songs are more modern than traditional.

thanks!

I'm using Marie Stack, MAS Music. I'm only having a violin and piano, but she is very reasonable and will work with your budget. We told her what we had to spend and she made it work.

What songs are you walking to?

Thanks for the recommendations... are any of you getting married in a church? I'm torn between the organ and the strings...i always pictured strings but the organ is there and is free lol.

I am getting married in the church.
I am using the organ. We have a full mass and I am nervous that the parts that are sung will not sound right with the string quartet. We are using the singer associated with the church and it might create a problem since the string quartet and singer will practice together.
I youtubed all the songs with the organ and I like the way it sounded. The processional of Canon in D sounds great with strings but the organist is a better fit for the rest of the songs.

I used Vintage String Quartet...I was very happy with them. They were cheaper than some of the others mentioned and did charge to learn the songs I requested. http://www.vstringq.com/
