What are your feelings about them? FH just told me he might go to one next weekend because his step brothers are in town and they want to go to one, I am nottttt happy at all.

Re: strip clubs...
i dont really see the big deal...if its for a bach party i feel like its just a fun male bonding thing...it would be another story if he was going to strip clubs all the time by himself...that would be creepy and not ok!

Re: strip clubs...
i dont see anything wrong with guys going to strip clubs..
FH goes once in a while...he needs his guys nights out, and if thats what he wants to do then fine... i dont know how it is everywhere, but most strip clubs kick you out if you try and touch the dancers, so i know hes not doing that
and the girl are there to make money, not get laid or get a date or anything like that..just $$$...i trust FH & dont see any harm in it..

Just talk to him... like I said it can't hurt :)

And than you go out too. No point in sitting home worrying about what he's doing. Trust is a good thing. Make it a point to go out with you girlfriends and have fun too.

yea, thats the best thing you can do...honestly, there is no harm in it...its just girls doing there job...no one is going to be tring to get on your FH, and chances are your FH might even feel a bit akward...if you fight about it, it will just bring up trust issues and blah blah and it will just cause more problems..just trust him and let him go..

hmm.. FH has never been to one actually. I've been to them a few times, both guys and a girls one. (the guys one was a little weird and made me feel a little uncomfortable actually, guys = girls stripping)
I've actually mentioned to him that he should go to one so i guess i don't have a problem with it. Maybe i don't have a problem though cuz he hasn't gone though
All I know is that if his step brothers werent coming to town this never would have happened, Im hoping there flight gets cancelled
maybe it's like a band-aid. The sooner it happens the sooner its over with lol

Re: strip clubs...
i don't have a problem with it IF its for a bachelor party, i get the whole 'a single mans last night' thing. BUT I do have a problem if its a regular occurence, like if fh just wanted to go with some buddies, then I start having a problem.

Re: strip clubs...
i wish there were more male strip clubs around where i live ((pa))...but theres not...not any!... oh, wait, there is one, but its a gay bar
there sure are a bunch of girl ones though
last year the chippendale dancers came to town & me and some of my girlfriends when to see them, it was a good time...kinda funny..i laughed a lot..
ive nver been to a girl strip club, but if anyting like that, its just entertaining...not really 'sexual' or anything like that

Re: strip clubs...
RITA!!!! You finally have someone on your side.
Maybe im weird, but this is how I see it.
ANYONE who says the ONLY person to turn them on is their FI is lying. Im not saying your interested or going to act on something, but there will always be people you find attractive. Ive been to both male and female strip clubs and TRUST ME. When I saw girls dancing etc it was much more acceptable then the things the women were doing at the male strip club. I practically saw a B2B have sex with the dancer ON STAGE! It was nasty, but at the same time hilarious. These guys are SO into themselves you have to laugh.
I find it weird for a guy to not watch porn. Not saying its good or bad, but weird. Let him watch whatever because there are things the girls in these movies do that I will never do.
Girls go dancing and guys grind up behind them all the time. I dont believe that everytime a guy is near, a girl turns around and says no thank you. Of course if its goes too far its stopped but its the same thing. Why can a guy grind up on a girl and buy her a drink but a guy cant watch a girl dance and strip. 'classy' (which is an oxymoron i know' strip places do not allow there to be touching.
Trust your man, know he loves you and he is just having a good time.

i know my FW and ALL of her friends when they go dancing, let a guy know that they arent interested BEFORE they begin grinding on them. and i dont know a girl that would let a guy buy them a drink if they were involved, engaged, married.
or maybe i have just been lied to by every women i have ever talked to about this kind of stuff
and i dont think it's the stripping that bothers women about strip clubs. i think it's about the lap dances. i think there's a difference between watching a naked woman on a stage or TV screen, and having (o)(o) shoved in your face. it's physical contact that i know most girls are uncomfortable with.

Re: strip clubs...
I had a hard time letting him go in the beginning of the relationship. Then about 4 years ago, I went to one with him and realized that he does it to hang out with the guys. I actually went to one last weekend with him.
I think the best thing to do is to let him think that it doesnt bother you.

Re: strip clubs...
Look, its all about trust. If you trust your guy than let him go. (don't forget to tell him if he comes home with a herpe on his knee than you don't want to hear it...j/k but its funny). My fh doesn't like them and I very fortunate that that is the case. He's not weird, he just doesn't like it. He has his opinions about them like everyone else.
Do I think strip clubs are trashy? 100%. There are better ways to make money people. Go work as a bar maid if you have too.
Do I judge people who go? Only when they touch. There is no reason to touch. Ew. Gross. Don't touch thats nasty.
Now if FH were to come to me tomorrow and say thats whats he's doing this weekend. FINE. But he better not think I'm going to be home waiting for his a$$ to come home. I am putting on a hot little outfit, making sure he sees me wearing it, and going out with my friends. Keep him thinking... And very sweetly say to him 'See you later, have fun.'
And btw, any guy that approaches you when you clearly have your e-ring on is not a nice person. And I don't think men should be buying you drinks, nontheless flirt with you if you are getting married. Thats not cool. FH is trusting you, like you trust him, to be good.
So all in all, trust plays a major factor here. If something bothers you, than speak to that person. Talking about it can't hurt....
