I don't really care. Almost all of his friends got married over the last few years and he has been to all of the bachelor parties. We met up after all of them, and he kept calling me (sometimes from the strip clubs) just to see what I was up to and make sure we were still meeting up later. Last summer he was at a bachelor party and I was at the bachelorette party of friends of ours and he was at home waiting for me by the time the girls were done all upset that I wasn't there earlier! I know that he enjoyed the parties most where they just went golfing and had a few drinks. Sometimes, I think those parties are tailored more to the party throwers than the groom.

I think it's completely degrading and uneccessary. Why does he need that when he has his soon to be wife? It is a matter of respect & I think the excuse that 'it's his last night as a single man' is the lamest excuse in the world-- what has he been free the past how ever many years he was dating his fi??? i don't get it---
thank God FH isn't into this @ all, so it's not an issue for us, but even if he was invited to one-he wouldn't go-out of respect for me-first and foremost!

Although John isn't into this at all, I see nothing wrong with it. I am totally secure in my relationship & if for some reason he did want to go to a strip club, I trust him 1000%. Let them have fun, it's harmless.

I wouldnt' mind a classy strip club at ALL, but I hate strippers that come to parties - or should I say the idea of it - I'm sure they are nice people :)

Becky, I totally agree with you! I really think that the people in the wedding party just do what they want and don't take into consideration what the bride or groom wants. They think it's funny to mess around with someone elses time. We both have no desire for any type of party. We have been to so many that it's just boring. But, I know his friends will plan something stupid.
