I hate the idea. Most of the woman go MUCH further than just stripping!!!!! I do trust FH so if he wants one (which he said he doesnt) he can have one

It bothers me somewhat, but I totallly trust FH, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it if they did have one. The best man is talking about Mardi Gras 2004 though

I agree kp- I said the same thing to FH, and he agrees. Its ok if they want to stop by a strip club for a little bit (not whole party), but he CANNOT have a stripper brought in (to hotel or apt or somehting)!!!! Because they DO do more than just strip and whoever lets that happen WILL NOT be in or at the wedding or a friend ever again. Luckily FH agrees, and the best man isn't like that anyway. He would respect my opinions.

I am not a big fan, because some of my male friends have told me stories of how far these strippers go and it isn't pretty.

If FH wants them (still deciding) I will trust him.

No way! Never! Over my dead body! And it's not a trust issue with us at all. But, he's not into that stuff anyway, so it's never been an issue.

I definitely wouldn't care if they went to a strip club, but would be more skeptical if there was a hired stripper for the reasons already stated.

I'm married already and luckily my husband did not have them. Just a nice night out at Atlantic City. This subject caused a loy of turmoil for me. I am completely against them - I think they are disrespectful and I think there are plenty of ways to let loose and have fun before your wedding - IMO.

unfortunately it doesn't really matter what deal you and FI have. Myself and DH were against strippers, (not a kick a$$ party, just naked people) So no girls for his party. However, some of the single guys thought otherwise and actually 'ordered' hookers! Which it seems is what shows up on LI when you call one of those 'escort' ads.
Someone else actually played the Groom/BM parts so that DH and Brother didn't have to deal with the nastiness.

I trust him and believe thats what occured, but think the whole thing is unnecesary.

When I have a deal I have a deal...There is not a doubt in my mind...

If you could see me and don't take this the wrong way.. There is NO REASON Ronnie would ever need a stripper.. How many girls you know have 36 F's....


We use to party alot and I have ALOT of friends who are strippers as well and its not that big of a deal to see tits and ass in your face.. There are alot of guys out there who get all googoo gagag when they see a piece of ass.. Not Ron.We have actually been to a few to see our friends dance and the way men behave is so hysterical....

I have been to HELL and Back.. He would never give up all we have to see some naked girls.. He knows he would be out of alot of $$ , Time , energy and ME!!!!! He knows he is blessed and lucky to have the love we have.. NO naked girl or hooker will take that from us!

We don't have a best man, we have a best woman... she's planning the bachelor party... her husband is also one of the ushers... Eric can have strippers from here to Alaska and back, I'm not worried about a thing cause the best woman would hunt them down and kill them all if anything happened.

Besides, I'm not going to worry about that kind of stuff... if he cheated, he'd die slowly and painfully and he knows it!

P.S.: I'm not a violent person, despite what this post may lead you to believe!

I do not have a problem with strippers. I am confident that Anthony will be a perfect gentleman. If a man is going to do something he will, whether with a stripper or someone he just met on the train, in a bar, at a store, etc

I didn't take it the wrong way, I can consider myself a hot piece of ^%S too.
And I think we all are (or should be) the most beautiful creatures to walk the planet in our FI/DH eyes.

I don't think that the guys who like that sort of thing are looking to oggle better looking T&A. Just ANY T&A.

But like I said my DH was so dead set on not having a party like that and some of the guys wanted it to they got it anyway, didn't matter what he said. Like someone else's wedding is an excuse to act like an idiot or something. So its Ronnies buddies that may be the ones to make the deal with!

I know that this sounds weird... but I really don't care if he sees other women on that day or whatever.....It can't get nasty or anything....but I sort of trust him to do the right thing and use his judgement...

My guy gets bored with strippers. He had to(occasionally still does) entertain clients and of course they wanted to hit the strip bars. Kinda' like a 'been there, done that' deal.

I doubt he'll have a stripper or hit a strip bar this time (2nd wedding for him.) He'd rather go hunting in the Adirondacks with the boys!

Even if I wanted to say to him no strippers he'd laugh because i've been to more strip clubs than he has!!
And no I didn't work in one...and I really haven't been to that many.
FH's dad and my big (6'5') brother will both be there so I figure there can't be anything too nasty going on - i hope!

I hate the idea of strippers. Especially the ones that guys hire, they are dirty girls. If he stopped at a strip club to say they went I guesse I would be ok. Who am I kidding I would be upset. I don't like the idea of another girl grinding on him. FH says he dosn't see the point to go give girls your money and then go home alone...... He thinks it is a waste. All he says he wants is some golf, beers and a little BBQ with his buddies. I hope the plan stays to that, some of the GM are into the whole stripper thing.
