. I was wondering if anyone has had any affair at Stuart Thomas Manor that was positive. We booked our wedding there and now I am having some doubts after reading past posts on here. I thought the place was perfect. The food was excellent and I like the fact of our wedding being the only one. Plus, they have a beautiful ballroom. I am getting married in February so I didn't think the grounds outside really mattered. Please help me. Give me some positive feedback about the place. Before I really freak out. The package they offer seems perfect and they are totally accomodating us in any way possible. Thanks Girls !!!!!

Hi, I almost had my engagement party there, but we went somewhere else. We had a food tasting and we thought it was very good. I think because it is newer, people haven't given it a chance. When I was there, someone was having a rehearsal dinner. They were very nice. We looked around at alot of places, and it was one of the final two. But my fiancee had liked the other place best out of the two. I am sure you looked around at other places, so something made you like it and pick it. Good luck.

I am sorry I wish I could be positive about the place, but I cant. When we went looking at halls the guy was really rude to us and was getting annoyed at me because I was asking him so many questions. (I asked him about the cake and he told me I dont get my cake top it goes to the kitchen staff)
There was a wedding going on and he just let us in the bridal suite with all the brides and BM's stuff all over the place. We could have stolen from the bride and she would have never known. What if that was my wedding, he would allow total strangers into the suite while my party was going on.
I am really sorry to be a downer, but I had a terrible experience when I went there and actually got up and walked out while the guy was talking because I just couldnt deal with his arragance (sp?) and he was completely 110% unprofessional.

I have no experience at all with the place but I did just want to say that your wedding is what you make of it and what your guests make of it. I am sure it will be great no matter what experience some people have had. if you booked it you must have loved it enough and had a good experience while booking and thats what counts. I am getting married at the Riviera in massapequa and although its not new its not one of the more popular on Li and i have heard some negative feedback on this board but we loved it and plan to make the most of our dayt and you should too. don't second guess yourself. It will be great!!

I think 04BRIDE couldn't of said it better. Your wedding is what you make out of it. Think back to why this place was in your top favorites and why you ended up picking it. I say always go with your gut, and gut was obviously with Stuart Thomas Manor. Don't worry

Don't worry about it-- it is newer so that is why there are not more things written about it. Keep in mind that when you read things people are always going to think their vendors are better (they chose them so they are better for them). You have to make sure that whatever you choose it works for you.
