Oh thank goodness. I spoke with Stuart and Thomas, oh and Estelle. They all seem very nice and helpful.
We are getting married on Halloween which is a Monday this year. The staff there seems very helpful.
Any suggestions??
And Thank you for your reply.

Re: Stuart Thomas Manor Farmingdale???
I only worked a little bit with Stuart and Thomas. Our banquet manager was Peter, but its been so long he may not even be there anymore. If he is, grab him, he is amazing.
I was a crazy bride and needed things to be perfect and they were always wonderful. I used to pop in at all hours and days to check stuff out and they were very accomodating.
Did you go for a tasting?? The food was really good.
How many people are you having? Will you be using all three rooms??

Re: Stuart Thomas Manor Farmingdale???
Here are some. The cake in the second pic was done by the manor. The other pics are in front of the stone wall in the lobby.
I will tell you, since I see you are using Lavender, make a list beforehand of pictures you definitely want. Depending on you photographer, one there that we had was a little attitudy and never even asked about certain pics.
I think like 120 guest. STM explained that we would prob be the only affair there- which I love. The ceremony will be in one room then we are moving to the cocktail hour then the reception in the other rooms. Our food tasting is next month.
I am getting to excited.
I did hear that they decorate really cute for the holidays which will be good for us. He said we could do jackolaterns and all.
And I think they redid the gazebo.
Thanks Ali

Oh, we hated that gazebo!! We didn't take pics in front of it because it had two different colors. We begged them before our wedding to paint the inside to match the outside, but they didn't in time. Oh well!!

Your pics are beautiful. Thank you for posting them.
The photographer name is Michael that we are dealing with and it could very well be the same one. I see a touch of a tude with this guy too.
What about your limo's? Do you mind if I ask??

Re: Stuart Thomas Manor Farmingdale???
We went with an outside limo company, and they credited us. But I am not going to recommend them to you because they are horrible. Are you using the package at Stuart Thomas??

Yes we are doing the package deal. It seemed decent. Did you do the same? How many guest did you have?
I feel so relieved talking with you, thank you.

Re: Stuart Thomas Manor Farmingdale???
We used the package. We had 170 people. Did they tell you that if you wanted to use a different photo or limo or anything from the package they will give you a certain amount towards it to go elsewhere or they will give you credit towards something else? Like, we didn't use their limos, so we got an extra $500 or so put towards our flowers or photo or they would have put that 500 towards the limo company we did pick. Don't know if they still do that, but they did it for us.
Here is a better pic of the cake. OMG, I don't have time now, but I will scan in more pics later. I don't have specific pics of the room, but I have pics with people everywhere and you can get an idea!!
Beautiful cake. Yes they did mention that to us. I still need to decide who we are using for the rest of the services off the vendor list.
Thank you so much for your help. Please post more.

Do you mind if I ask how much it was per person after the 100 guest?
I am sorry if I am being rude.

It was $65 after the 100, plus tax and gratuity. I think it was $38 for kids 12-21 and like $18 for kids 5-12 and free for under 5. I think thats what it was.
You are not being rude at all. It is my pleasure to help. It's been a while since I have been able to talk so much wedding stuff, and I kinda missed it all. It goes sooo fast!!

Re: Stuart Thomas Manor Farmingdale???
They quoted us $55 pp because Halloween is on a Monday so he said it would be less.
We are using most the vendors on there list because they all seemed nice and fair.
The Music Man -Preferred events stinks with his call backs but is helpful and productive when we do speak.
We are using enchanted florist which come with the package, I had to add to it but liked what I saw.
For the ceremony we are using the lighted trees that the STM provides.
