Stuck between two RH...

I fell in love with Westbury Manor's outside garden and their intimate settings...

I also fell in love with Fox Hollow's Winter Garden room...

the price difference isn't too much...

what should I do?

what do you girls look for?

I think both are great. Since I have so many oot i would pick fox hollow bc of the inn right next door

I looked at both and was torn between the exact same 2 RH's.

We decided on WM because I liked their grounds better. We were getting married at the RH and taking pictures there, so to me the grounds were important. We also wanted cocktail hour and the ceremony outside and we just fell in love with WM. I did fall in love with the Winter Garden Pavillion at Fox Hollow, but their grounds couldn't compete with WM. Hope this helps!!

Im a Foxy bride. But i too was torn between both for me it was how well all of my guests would fit. Just from experience at another wedding at WM i think the Fox was a better fit for us & our theme. But both are amazing places! GOOD LUCK ITS A HARD CHOICE! Scotto Bros have some great RH's.

fox hollow is gorgeous....i havent seen westbury manor though so i cant judge

From talking to other people and other BMs from different RHs, I also though FH and WM is owned by the Scotto (spelling) brothers...

But when I spoke to a (very rude) BM from FH he said no... hmm.. i wonder...

but yes, I love the grounds of WM!!

We went to both and FH and I really loved the gardens at WM... we also liked the cocktail hour there better.

We didn't see the Garden Room at FH though bc we wouldn't fit in there, but we loved the pics of it online!

They are both definitely owned by Scotto - everything I have from WM is signed by Jerry Scotto!

They're brothers but they run the places separately. I think years ago everything was together and now one owns Fox Hollow and Chataeu Briand and the other owns Westbury Manor... I think.

I see you're getting married in May. I'm a WM bride and even though the chances are slim that I'll be able to have an outdoor cocktail hour, that garden COMPLETELY sold me.

I would voice my dilemma to both places and see if they'll both let you go for tastings. The food might make your decision easier. Good luck!

I went to the 2 same places and loved them for the same reasons you did. My question is are you looking to get married in the day or night? Also what time of the year?
If you cant enjoy the gardens at WM then go for Fox Hollow.

**** I see you are getting married in May...so I would say try to see if you can taste the foods before you decide

You're dealing with the same owners, so your quality will be the same, it really depends on size, etc. Tough choice, but which one did you say 'Wow' when you walked in, first reaction?

That's how we picked, the one we thought 'this is it' immediately, was it.

:) I visited both. I just felt WM felt like it was the place- no other place has those gardens. I also liked the service there better. Maybe go visit again?

I second the food! We break the bank for a $200 meal very often at the Polo Lounge just so I can be there!

Yes they are Scotto Bros. I spoke with Victor Scotto himself. Also on their websites it plainly says Scotto Bros on the bottom.

As for the food. Both places are wonderful. U cant beat them. My entire family went to FH's restaurant for Easter & said it was amazing. Because its teh same family that owns it. So i would say u now need to thinkabout how each makes u feel & how it will fit your guests your theme & u both!
