Stuffing question
Envelopes that is
I love the numbering the response card idea, and just curious - where did everyone put their numbers? I'm folding it and placing it in the response envelope, and was just thinking about it.
Thanks!
Any other tips on envelope stuffing would be great, too! Thanks!

Re: Stuffing question
My cards aren't the folding kind but if they were I would make a small number at the fold in pencil.Since my cards are the panel kind, im going to mark them in the center of the back.

Re: Stuffing question
You number the response cards (lightly w/ a pencil so no one will notice) so that when you get them back you can figure out who sent it if their handwriting is terrible!
By the way -- I'm stuffing my envelopes tomorrow too --> what's the order that everything goes in? Do the directions/maps go in the inner envelope?

Re: Stuffing question
I think the reason is that if someone responds, and 1. you can't read the handwriting, or 2. for some reason they don't put a name and just mark accept or decline.

Re: Stuffing question
Gotcha! Thanks! I have no idea what the order is. I planned on asking my calligrapher when I pick them up.

Re: Stuffing question
When I went to pick up my invitations, the lady showed me how to stuff them properly. Every place should show you.

Do you remember the sequence she showed you?

Re: boosh78201
The way she showed me was you put the back end of the response card in the envelope so its easy for people to fill out, then under that you put the reception card, then the actual invitation. They all go in the inner envelope

Re: Stuffing question
My response cards did not fold so I wrote the numbers on the back in the left hand corner. I was surprised by how many people wrote jokes on the response cards like 'Why am I number 49 don't you know my lucky number is 45?' and ' Who is number 1?' I got a good laugh at the jokes though.Welcome New Vendors
