So my date is Oct 3rd 09....dont know if i should do a fall theme (colors, leaves etc) or less fall-ish colors(like blues and purples)
What do you guys think? I know its autumn by the time my wedding comes, but I dont know I think the leaves dont start changing till later on..need some insight!

imo i would do fall colors for oct. but its your wedding if you want the blue and purple colors you should go for it.

I definately love the idea of fall colors. actually i was thinking about just doing black dresses-saves alot of headaches for me! My BMs will complain!!!
But I guess I picked a weird time of the year, because sept is JUST over and then its right in the beginning of fall.
Then if I had a blue (dark) or a dark purple, and all the leaves are falling around us...that might look weird-like the colors might clash

donna do you really think if you have dark blue or purple your guest will notice that the dresses are clasing with the leaves outside? lol no one will notice that. pick the colros you love and want.

so we will have to wait till this fall to determine EXACTLY what colors the leaves are at what time in the fall so i can decide if i want any other colors in the dresses

I think that the fall colors would be great... I am partial since I am getting married a few weeks after you....but if you wanted to go with the other colors that is totally fine too...I think the leaves are just starting to change by then....but do what you really want....

Why dont u do like a golden yellow the leaves are changing around that time but not fully...but also being that our weather is JACKED UP it still maybe hot around that time and the leaves wont change...I dunno do light fall colors not as deep but a shade lighter maybe that'll help u feel better I dunno just an idea!

I definately will. I think its a pretty good idea to do black and then accentuate(SP?) with different colors. Like sashes or what not

I totally agree..... but, let me say this I keep changing my mind, so wait til you see how the girls look in the fall and your choice of colors and base your decision on that. That is my plan,lol.
