Hi girls. Last night I was driving home and the light changed yellow. I was going a little to fast to stop, so I went through it. Yet, just as I did it turned red and that little camera thing-a-majiggy clicked at my car! So now I am so afraid, I will be opening up my mail one fine morning, and there will be a nice ticket in my name......
Does anyone know how sophisticated these cameras are. Has anyone ever got caught by one? Thanks, Denise
P.S. I am a good driver. I basically just went through it as it turned red. That camera wasted no time going off.....

No, it was one of those lights that is on a timer and flashes at ya. Well thank god it doesn't affect your insurance, that is what I am more worried about. The $50 I can handle, I think?? :)

I thought I got caught a few months ago, but I was behind a car that was exactly the same as mine and I never got a ticket so I was lucky, I guess.

I got one of those tickets once - it wasn't too long after I got caught so you should know in a couple of weeks. I figured for the number of times I did cut it too close with no reprecussions, I deserved it.
Here's hoping for no mail from the good ole DMV

Thanks Christine. This is definitely a lesson to me. I pray I don't get one but its not the end of the world if I do. At least I won't have to have the agony of waiting since you said I will get it pretty soon.

ETA: Of course the whole reason I had to wait a year to bring my car to NYC was to let the last of the 7 speeding tickets clear off my License that I got while I was in Texas.
