So I'm tooling home on the 135, gettin' my game face on for some baking. Traffic slows down and I come to a stop. I glance in my rearview mirror and see that the person behind me has also come to a stop. Next thing I know... WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM!
Some toolbox rear-ended the car behind me, which then hit me, causing me to hit the woman in front of me!! So now my front bumper is cracked and the headlight is loose and I've got scratches (whatever) on my rear bumper! When the police got there, the toolbox said 'Well I was coming to a stop and then all of a sudden I hit something!' Yeah, it's a called a car! And then he was sort of snotting about how his car is brand new and he has to get it fixed. Well Mr Toolbox, had you learned how to operate the BRAKE PEDAL, perhaps we could have all avoided standing out in the cold and dark on the 135 during rush hour. Just a thought.
The woman in front of me was very nice and the guy behind me was very nice (and a tall drink of water at that) so it wasn't awful. But i'd like to kick that stupid toolbox right in his stupid head.

So I reported it and blah blah blah make-a-claim cakes. I'm getting an estimate Saturday. The nice lady at Geico said 'It looks like it's that toolbox's fault.' Well she didn't say 'toolbox', but wouldn't it have beeen AWESOME if she did? I'll know more in a few days.
Maybe I should sue Mr. Toolbox for $15K... the exact amount of my wedding budget!
When I saw FH last night I said 'Oh, about the accident, did I tell you--' he snapped 'Yeah, I know, everyone was very nice and one of the guys was really cute.'
I totally should have fainted in his arms!

You know, I've noticed that the term 'cakes' has begun to pepper your posts (ha! I like that 'pepper your posts' - sorry, just cracked myself up)
Anyway, last night I was watching CSI Miami (which I have a very strange addiction to, not regular CSI, just CSI Miami) anyway, they had some rapper guy almost get shot and they had him in for questioning. Callie came in with some bit of extremely important evidence ( ) and when she walked out the guy said 'Nice cakes' I've been using it as a term of endearment for DH's a$$ (with a obligatory squeeze, of course) for the last 24 hours...
He doesn't especially like it, but, well who cares!!

People on 135 drive like crap- lots of tailgating, etc.
My mom got hit REALLY bad on 135- and it was a hit and run.

I think i saw you guys on the side of the 135 last night - there was like 4 cars pulled over and a cop --- causing all sorts of traffic lol......

Yay! That was us! We're famous! Hmm, no the cute guy was just in a suit, but he was super tall... Mr. Toolbox had on a long leather jacket, but he was bald... and not in the hot-jean-luc-picard-or-ed-harris way. I was the short, tiny one in black.
P.S. it was freaking cold out there!
