Save yourself trip to others florists and go to John at Flower Michele. He has been great to work with and I cannot wait to see my flowers the day of the wedding.

I wen to 5 different florists, 1 of which was just like the one you described. After meeting with John from Flower Michele, like 1 second later I was sold ( he was my 5th consult). I showed him a picture of a bo'k that I loved and I said 'I fell in love with this one' he replied with 'If that's what you love then that's what you'll have' Now that is my kind of florist! Try him, can't hurt.

I am also a HUGE fan of John... he is truly wonderful and really works with you... he is the best!!

I have not decided on a florist yet, but I plan on starting with Flowers by Brian on Jericho Turnpike....my sister used them 2 years ago and her flowers were unbelievable,...and the price was very fair....

I loved George from Signature Florist. hmpena and Leese from '06 are using (and LOVE) him too. he listened to what I wanted and I am getting exactly that- what I want and what I asked for on MY wedding day.

some of these wedding florists think since they have the experience, they know what's best for you.

and you aren't nuts. i went to 10 florists before I found george - including the one you are talking about. tho i loved them, i wanted something *different* and got it from George.
