stupid hair question

stupid hair question

if you are wearing your hear back/up, are you washing it the day of? my wedding is at night as I was not planning on washing it the morning of, since I was told not to, except that I am going to have a lot of product and stuff in it from the RD the night before. do you think its better to just wash it the morning of and not put any product in? I want it to stay put once its up! sorry I know this is stupid - thanks!!!

if you are going to have stuff in it from the night before than i think its ok to wash it, just use a non-moisturizing shampoo and DONT use conditioner. the point of not washing it is so that its not too soft or slippery so that it holds better. my hair person said washing it is fine just follow the directions of non-moisturizing and no conditioner

I'm going to wash it the night before. Next day hair is always easier to work with.

I wash my hair every single day..it's so oily otherwise... annoying.

I know, I get paranoid about my hair getting greasy too, sometimes I wash it twice a day (I think thats bad but whatever).

i'm not washing mine the morning of... if i decide to put stuff in it for the rd i'll wash it right before i go to bed

Me too!!! It is sooo freaking annoying!!!!

I am going to ask whoever I book to do my hair that day, what I should do. Coz I have fine thin hair so just a little oil makes it look weighed down especially at the roots. And I am using extensions that day, so I really need to know that the heck to do.

I asked several hair people this question and they all gave me the same answer. Wash your hair the night before. By the following afternoon the oils should be ok in your hair for it to hold the products in it for the wedding and it won't go anywhere!
