I am pretty sure my upstairs neighbor(a teenager) is stealing my Brides magazine. I haven't gotten my last two issues and I know they were sent. I have a small mailbox so the mailman leaves magazines in the slot below. I thought it was strange when the last issue didn't have the plastic covering. I was wondering how the mailman knew to deliever it to me. I only suspect its her since I noticed she got Modern Bride delivered which I thought was strange for a 16 year old but sometimes they are obessed with weddings.
I did go up there and tell the younger sister that I was 'missing' some mail and thought maybe they had it by mistake hoping the mag would be in front of my door today. NO such luck!!!!!
I hate stealing!!! And this issue had pictures of my wedding hall in the Real Weddings section

omg, that is SO annoying!!!! and it's not like you can call her out on it since you don't have solid proof... maybe you could call bride's mag and tell them that you haven't received your issues? maybe they'd be nice and re-send you the mags. of course, that wouldn't solve the problem, but at least you'd get some of them. maybe if you catch her alone you could ask her, and try to make her feel really guilty so she stops.

Well if that aint the lowest of the low!!!!!! Stealing a BRIDE'S bridal mag....when she gets engaged may she only have one month to plan the wedding....hmmm...maybe I need to change my card
Maybe you could talk to her and her parents together. Explain that you are definitely missing some mail and that when you checked with your postal carrier he/she said it was delivered. You understand if it was a mistake.
Then when she doesn't fess up explain how you hope the 'anonymous' person comes forward otherwise you will have to report it and stealing mail is a FEDERAL OFFENSE! because it really is. Not sure what the fine/jail time is but that should fix the problem.
Isn't a subscription to Bride's only $12. Kids today get so much money from their parents you think she could pick up her own copy

I would flat out ask if they happen to see the Bride's magazine - that would be so rude if they were taking it. I bet if you tell them that you are going to get Bride's to send it certified mail, they would be sure to leave it next time in the mailbox where it belongs!!

i had one of my brides magzine taken i think -but i called brides - i found the number online and said i had not recieved my copy and they ssent me a new one

lame! lame! lame! I think Stealing is the lowest.
Our mailman leaves things on the floor and the teenage boys upstairs take it - no matter what it is. They stole a Santa Suit this winter from us. What the hell is wrong with people!?
I think you should slip a note under the door politely asking if they have 'seen' your magazines. Maybe she left them lying around and the mom has no idea her daughter is stealing! That might do the trick...(or at least scare the stupid girl into not stealing them next time.)

Talking to her parents? Asking them if they may have seen the magazines. Definitely call the magazine subscriber, is there another place the mailman can put them?
