I guess it's something that all the girls who are not attending could discuss. I would imagine it would be difficult only because of shipping reasons... if you bought something that's large in size off of your secret bride's registry, it might cost you a lot to ship.
Maybe you can find the rest of the girls that aren't going and try to plan it with all of those girls, that way everyone who's at the shower can open their present in person, not wait for it to arrive in the mail and feel left out. Also - if someone is paying to ship a gift to you it seems only fair that you'd also ship a gift. Does that make sense?

i was thinking maybe ship them to someone ahead of time either the bride the gift is for or if someone wanted to be incharge of transporting gifts from OOT girls to the shower.
i don't know it was a idea I just kinda wanted to be a part of the shower but it isn't looking good.
I guess it was a silly idea... it just stinks i'm 500 miles away and can't spend $300 to get to LI for a few hours![]()

That's why I'm saying try to plan it with other girls who aren't going. That way all the OOT girls can still feel like they're a part of it.

truthfully, i think that will be really complicated. I also think if it is done that there should be a secret bride for those who are not coming and a separate one for those that are. Personally, I dont really care if we do/dont do secret bride at all. I think its a fun idea but Im more excited abotu going to the shower and spending time together, not about getting a gift. I do agree with Angela that it might not be fair to those that give gifts if they are waiting to recieve their gift in the mail. I dont know I hope this made sense!

Yeah, I hope you dont thikn we thought it was stupid or were discouraging you from doing it. Why not at least try to see if other OOT girls would be interested?

i figured from the 90 something people that looked at this and only you 2 posted anything no one was interested so never mind i'm not gonna push anything others have no interest in

I got an idea... If you can get enough people together that want to do the exchange (who arent going to the shower), I will personally run the secret bride for those girls. I feel bad for those who won;t be able to attend. I know how much I loved playing secret santa in school ![]()
