Stupid Question...

Stupid Question...

I know the proper etiquette is to wear Pantyhose, but I have seen SO many summer brides who don't.

SO...To wear or not to wear pantyhose

That is my question.

If I do, I might take them off towards the end of the night because I have bride flip flops to wear.

Re: Stupid Question...

My shoes are closed-toe and I'm not doing a garter removal, so I'm wearing knee-hi's.

I am wearing thigh highs, and closed toe shoes.

I was also thinking of weighing thigh highs. I am debating.

Re: Stupid Question...

I don't want to wear them, but when my grandmother heard that she almost died!! She said that I HAVE TO wear pantyhose!!! (but I still don't think I am, a little secret won't hurt her!)

Re: Stupid Question...

I have open toed shoes so no stockings for me..... I am much happier because I hate wearing them and try to get away with wearing them as little as possible.

I know what the big deal is. My mother almost died too when I told her I was thinking about not wearing them.

Re: Stupid Question...

ceremony on the sand, no shoes, no pantyhose! my aunt was trying to talk me into it, and I just laughed at the image of having a pound of sand pulling down my stockings as I walked down the aisle, LOL

I'm not a Summer bride, but this is what I'm doing too. I'd be afraid that my shoes might cut into my feet if I don't have some kind of stockings.

Like you say, take them off later on to wear your flip-flops

Re: Stupid Question...

I haven't worn pantyhose since I left NY and won't be starting now. My seamstress was shocked when I told her I was only wearing a G-string! But I am all about comfort.

I am not doing the garter thing though so no one but my mom who is lacing me up and my FH at the end of night will be the wiser

I am so with you - a white G String is all I will have on under my corset-back dress!

I was thinking...No pantyhose. I am not doing the garter thing. Just worried that my shoes will cut into my feet too. So I might wear thigh highs or knee highs.
