People say to check your vendors out on the BBB, what if you don't find them on there? Is this a negative thing?

i was going to so that. but have not yet--if they are not on it that is a good thing-- means they have not yet been reported

BBB is vouluntary. Businesses do not have to register with them. Its helpful, but should not be an end all to make your decisions.

Not necessarily so... A vendor can be on the BBB website as a member which is a good thing. It's if they are a member and have complaints listed under their name then it's a bad thing. Also, not being a member of the BBB isn't terrible. There are plenty of good vendors out there that don't belong to it.
