STUPID QUESTION

whatever women co workers i invited are invited to my shower. It is alot but i am close to everyone of them..i am a teacher and we have a VERY closeknit dept. There are 18 women and i am close to everyone of them

As far as the FH he wil be there at the end

I think whoever you invite to the wedding should receive an invite to the shower. Some co-workers throw you a shower at work, it is then that they decide to go to the one your family gives you.

I disagree. I think it depends on your relationship to the weding guests. I think the only people you should invite to the shower are people you actually know well (your friends, family, and maybe co-workers) and close members of DH's family. I don't think it's necessary to invite people to a shower simply b/c they will be at the wedding. I'd feel strange being invited to a shower for someone I barely knew.

I agree that it depends on how close you are to the person. A wedding shower is a bit more intimate than the wedding (I think). Only people close to you, your family or DH's family should be invited-IMO.
