so do you have to know what colors you are using for your wedding before you see someone about flowers?? My mom told me i should make an appointment with a florist but i think its pointless because i have no idea what colors im using.

I guess it depends...some of the florists I met with wanted me to have my colors picked before I met with them and others didn't care and said we could discuss that with the final meeting.
i have an idea of what i am using but having really settled on anything and i booked my florist...she did ask if i know the color of bm dresses and i knew that so she said ok so their bok's would go fine with their dress...other than that the color didnt come up
do you know how far in advance flowers should be booked???

hmmm...i guess it makes sense to pick the BM dresses first....just in case.
It depends on the florist. SOme florists will charge you by the type of flowers you use, which obviously then will depend on what color you choose. Others, like mine, just need to know how many boquets (sp?), boutineers, and all that stuff you will need. It definitly helps you get a better picture from the florist of what your flowers will look like if you do know your colors but it is not a mandatory thing. HTH!
I think it would be easier to make decisions on flowers if you had an idea of what color the bm dress is.
