what do you put on your finger first wedding band or engagement ring??? or is it a personal preference lol just got mine and i cant figure out what i like best!

I think it's a matter of preference, I personally prefer the look of having the wedding band first and then the e-ring, but I've seen it done in the opposite way

wedding band then engagement ring. b/c at the ceremony you will put your engagement ring on your right hand so that FH can slip the wedding band on your left hand. then after the ceremony you can put the engagement ring back on your left hand. hope that makes sense!

yup makes sens eand i think i like that better!! thing is my jewler gave me a tighter wedding band and my engagement ring is a little loose on me and i put the bally things on, i lost some weight so he said to put the band on top. but i like it underneath also!!!

I like my wedding band first because then I can take off the engagement ring if I want to go simple. My mom has NEVER taken off her wedding band in all their years together, and I'd like to try to do that maybe. I don't know if I can.

Wedding band is 'supposed' to go first, because that way it's closer to your heart.
But of couse it's up to you whether you follow tradition or not.

I've seen it with the band first then the e-ring on the outside. That's how I will wear it too.

I have 2 friends that wear the ering first and then their wedding band. One says 'i know it isn't proper but it's the way i want it' and the other says 'my ering costs much more than the band so I want to be sure if anything falls off its not the ering' so it's really a personal preference. I've tried mine both ways and prefer the wedding band first and then my ering.

i forgot where i read it, but i believe the etiquette is the wedding band goes first so it's closer to your heart, and the ering goes on the outside because it's closer to the wallet
i wear my rings w/ my wedding band first simply because i like how it looks more than w/ ering on first.
