I'm trying to guesstimate my hall price. What is the tax rate is LI. Is it still 4.25??

i think there are 2 taxes that are added on to the price per plate. i have to look at my contract though - can't quite remember

Ours was an 8.625% tax charge and a 20% 'service' charge or whatever it's for. I think they said that would be tip or something.

There's state tax, local tax and some mcd something or other tax. 3 different taxes. If i do anymore math tonight my head will implode

Tell me about it when I did the math today the gratuity added another 1500 to the final cost. although I do understand you want to make sure the people who served everyone gets tipped accordingly
