Stupid question about hotel blocks...

do they say anything to you if you only get like one of your rooms blocked?

like, i dont know, im thinking something along the lines of them making you feel bad that they gave you a good price for that one room since it was part of a block and then only 1 room was blocked.

I hear ya... like you'll feel weird that they blocked 10 and booked 1... I was thinking the same thing...

BUT....

It's not your fault don't feel bad and if they give you dirty looks when you walk in to go to your bridal suite... spit in their face

I had to guarantee 10 rooms. They said that if I dont get the 10 rooms than I would have to pay the difference between the regular price vs the discounted price they gave me on the rooms that were booked.

So for example, they gave me a $40 discount per room. If only two rooms get booked I owe them $80

Whcih Hampton Inn? I am blocked at the one in Islandia and I was not told this. I was told I was not responsible if the rooms do not get booked and that they would release the rooms in the block one week before.

It's a new Hampton Inn in Jericho. I'm going to call the manager tomorrow and complain about this then. It's not written in the contract anyway so I'm not too concerned but he definitely did tell me this over the phone.
