stupid question- bikini wax

do you keep your underwear on or off? never had one before just want to know what to expect if I go this route- since Im preggo it seems like the only viable option for this type of maintenance

Panties stay on for a regular bikini wax although I don't know about a brazilian. I've been wanting to go that route since I got PG....

Some places ask you to take off your underwear when doing a brazilian (they see everything anyways) but you don't have to if it makes you feel uncomfortable. For all other types of bikini waxing you leave them on.

ok another silly question, what exactly is the difference between and brazlian and a bikini wax if you leave your underwear on? I mean do they take off much more than a bikini? What it you wear a thong? do they follow the line of the thong in a regular bikini wax? sorry tmi

With a regular bikini wax, some places do ONLY the hair you can see outside of your regular underware line. Some places do a little more. You can tell them how much you want off - if you want more than they automatically do - and they shouldn't charge you more unless you cross into brazillian territory.

Brazillian waxes do EVERYTHING. And I mean everything - even...how do I put this...where the thong goes (does that make sense without being disgusting?). If you want them to leave a 'landing strip' as its often called, they will. But there is VERY little hair left, if any. Yes its painful but only for a couple of seconds and in my opinion is totally worth the short discomfort.

I've never had a regular bikini waxing. I've only done brazilian and for that, my undies come off.

To me, you could do a regular bikini wax at home with a waxing kit (Bliss has an OK one and you can also get those Sally Hansen ones at the drug store) - I don't ever do regular waxes either, I always do brazilian.

My friend gets a brazillian wax all the time. She says they give you paper 'underware' that you slide to the side while they rip your hair our. I have to admit, now that my belly is getting bigger, I'm working harder to shave that area...waxing just might be the answer too!!
