Stupid Question- Guest Lists

Re: Stupid Question- Guest Lists

I don't have excel so I used a spreadsheet in Microsoft Works. I just put in the names, # invited and # attending. It's really easy and it has an auto sum thingy that will add up the numbers for me. That's about as technologically advanced as I can get.

I use the one on theknot. I think it's pretty efficient and keeps you organized.

Yup, me too. I love that you can filter the list by so many diferent options. You can also export your list to Excel or MS Word if your printing your own envelopes.

I plan on printing out the guest list and crossing off who isn't coming and marking down next to the name the number of guests for the people that are coming - like if I invite Joe Smith and guest and it's just him I'll put 1 but if he's bringing a guest I'll put 2. If I send it to Mr & Mrs Smith & family I'll put down 2 + 2 kids just so I can let the RH know the difference since kids are less $$$.

Im using Excel too.... it was great for my save the dates bc i set up an envelope merge, and merged all the names on excel to word and printed the names and addresses in a cute font that matched the ink on the save the date :)
