Stupid question (registry related)

Ok so i was telling my mom that you only put the registry info in the shower invites and not the wedding invites... she told me that i should put them in both cause not eveyone is getting invited to the shower....which is correct

I don't think it' s 'proper' to put i on the wedding invitations, just the shower invites.

Wedding invitations should not contain any gift related information. Shower invites only.

The registry cards are supposed to go in just the shower invites. Besides, most people don't lug a gift to a wedding anymore. Most people are going to give money. Gifts are usually given at the shower. At least, that is what everyone has been telling me.

they were put in my shower invites only. For the invitations, we just added our website on on there is the registry information. So if you have a website with all of your wedding information on it, then you can put that in your invite somwhere.

Did you put it on the actual invite? or did you put in a seprate card?

Registry information should go on the shower invitations only.

I had an information card that includs hotel blockings and our wedding website info. I put the registry info on that card as well and sent it with my invites.
