stupid salon

While I was on the phone with the salon scheduling my hair trial, I asked to double-check the prices for the girls' hair and makeup. They want to now charge $70 each for makeup when we were quoted $55 when we made the appointments I told her we were canceling all the appointments if they didn't honor the price. She has to 'talk to the new makeup artist' to see if she'll honor the price. (New makeup artist my butt - she did my makeup for my shower and she was the makeup artist they had when we made the appointments!!)

Well, guess what. It's either $55 a person and you have 10 people getting makeup done -- or it's $70 per person and you have 0.

So now I have to wait for them to call me back to tell me if they will honor the price we were quoted. Not to mention the price on their web site says $50, not $55.

We were told $55 when we made the appointments a couple months ago... What will I do if they are now going to tell me it's $70??? The girls can't pay that. I either have to see if Red Door can take us for makeup or pay the difference in price myself. I have 7 BMs...

Please that they honor their original price. I should hear back sometime soon.

Oh what a pain!! If anything they should honor the price on their website, since that's actually in writing! That is so not cool. I hope they come to their senses or realize they're losing your business!!

You should print out the web page with the pricing on it and bring it to them...they should have to honor it...or, at the very least, honor the $55 price they gave you.

Already printed it out... will bust out the 'I'm an attorney' card when they call back if I have to.
