OK, I know the answer to this..but I need someone to stop me cause sometimes I have no common sense...LOL
Bought a package of 5 sessions. Went the other day..it was the Silver Pkg I think,(beach bum) meaning not the weakest bed. They told me to buy the accelerator and told me cause I am fair only to go in 8 min. OK, so I didnt feel like I was burning when I was in there. Later that night...my chest and stomach is on the slightly burnt side. I AM ON THE FAIR SIDE and will tan but it will take awhile. Anyway that was Tuesday..I wanted to go tanning again today..but my chest and stomach still feel itchy, like when you get sunburned.....I should wait to go back right? I only have 9 days left..I am not looking to get tan..I just want a glow.

Don't go back today. Wait at least a day or two in between sessions. I wouldn't go for more than 8 minutes again.

I used to work at a tanning salon and when people would come in with still itchy from the first tan I would tell them to stop using the accellerator alot of times especially people with fair skin have issues with accelerators! JMO though!

Did they try to sell you on the highest bed? I know its pricey but because your so fair it might be worth not getting burned and just color. Maybe it was something in the accelerator that caused it -is there hemp in it?

Thank you ladies for replying! I actually think that the itchiness is from getting burnt. Could be the accelerator.....cause my skin is very sensitive. I only bought the packets, so no big loss if I dont use them again.
Is the accelerator like self tanner? Meaning there are no benefits excpet it makes you produce more melonin(??) I dont plan on using it anyway cause I can never put that crap on even and I have a couple of dark splothes on my arm where I didnt rub in good enough.
Are there anyother benefits to the accelerator? I mean it doesnt do anything to protect your skin right?

No, they didnt push anything on me....would it be safe for me to use the highest bed? Again, I tend ot burn first.

The ones with the bronzer I recommend most- it just adds a little tint and less chance of any spotting or irritation!
