I know! And its almost the end of the semester. But you can't cheat and get away with it! Not at this level of education, and as an English major, I take plagerism very seriously! It gets me very angry. Jacka$$.

i sent a professor a paper a while back that had my name at the top but the rest of the paper was word for word someone elses paper. I can honestly say that i was not trying to claim it as my own, in fact i had cited it in my paper, my name was on it b/c i wasn't sure if we had to give in our sources too...
but the thing is, that's the only file i sent. not the one with MY paper.

My professor wrote me a lovely email explaining that her friend was very honored that an A student would claim to be the author of his 'B' paper that he wrote in college...
ugh. he was a VERY affluent author at this point, and he was apparently her roomate in college. it's one of the only papers he did not get an A on in his entire carreer.

She let me redo the assignment ( i handed in my original paper with the citations and everything but still had to do a makeup 'just in case')

It was the most embarassing moment of my academic career.
She could have failed me, and I could have been expelled but she didn't.
man...just thinking about the situation gets me all hot and heated... and embarassed.
but i KNEW it wasn't mine, i knew every word of it lol...

that dumb kid should have at least READ what he handed in.

Talk about not putting any effort into his work, I mean, c'mon .. at LEAST read it!!

seriously if you are gonna do that at least put in teh EFFORt to READ it to make sure it was what you wanted it to be... idiot
