Has anyone ever done this or known anyone who has done this and actually gotten the pics published in a magazine (or even on the internet, like the knot)?

A friend of mine was in Essence. Actually on their website not the printed magazine.

I friend of mine was married at Disney and her photographer submitted her pic to a magazine and they published it.
