Sooo... I'm not a makeup person. I think I've only worn makeup about six times in my life. To give some perspective, my mom never wore makeup until she was 50, and then decided she wanted to brighten things up with a little lipstick.
Anyway, I definitely want makeup for my wedding day, but I'm looking for a subtle look, something that doesn't make me scream 'Who is that clown and what has she done with the bride???' when I look in the mirror . After all, I want my DH to recognize me when I walk down the aisle! Can anyone recommend a makeup person who is fairly minimalist, who can make me look nice without scaring the bejeezus out of me?
Thanks!

Danielle Minella was awesome. She does very subtle natural looks. Check her out, A More Fabulous You or The Makeup Loft. They're both her.
Are you using her? Do you know her rates for airbrushing?

Elizabeth Aiello. I didn't want to look overly done, and she did a great job with my trial. I booked her immediately. she is very reasonably priced, too.

I'm the same way, and Gina from Glamour me up gave me the look that I wanted. I wanted to look done up, but still look like me. lol Her rates are also very reasonable, and travels to you the day of. She has a 3 person minimum, and will take cash or credit the day of too. :)

I recommend Sandra Baldini 100%. I am a former tom boy, who doesn't ever wear make up. I was scared about having it done, but I knew for pictures I would regret not getting make up done. Sandra totally understood my hesitation and took her time going through everything with me at the trial. She did everything in steps so I could decide how much or how little I wanted. She was also extremely reasonably priced in comparison to most the prices I've seen on here.
I also wanted to add that many of my friends and relatives commented on how nice my make up was and that it was the perfect amount for me considering I don't wear a lot.

Good to know! Thanks! I don't want to wear too much makeup on our wedding day... FH is not a fan of makeup.

I personally think any good makeup artist can accomplish that look. What I would do is look up natural makeup looks on pinterest to get some ideas. Bring that to a trial or consultation would be super helpful!
