So i realized today that it was Dec. 17th and my best friend/ bridesmaids brithday was on Dec. 3rd or 4th im so bad with b-days.. anyway I FORGOT IT!!!!! so i sent her a text since i was at work saying im so sorry i cant believe i forgot your brithday i want to take you out to lunch this week please let me know if thats ok. and i havent heard back from her. i hope shes not really mad at me! im so embarrassed i missed it

thats what i said i would be upset that they forgot but its understandable to a point.. its bad enough i just realized today that its DEC 17th. i could have SWORN it was Nov. still.. HA HA HA HA im in such a daze with school and work i dont know what i was thinking

just to be safe...do a bigger gesture: a thoughtful card (no technology involved) or even drop off flowers or something. Just to show how sorry you are. A true friend will eventually understand how crazed you are and forgive you. If it makes you feel better, my bro sent me a text today and I never got it. Maybe the texts aren't working so hot today?

At least you're recognizing to her that you forgot it, and you're apologizing for it, instead of making up some lame a s s excuse. I mean, it is a pretty big offense, but definitely a forgivable one. Hope she gets in touch with you soon.

to be honest i could swear she said she was going to her sisters in texas for the brith of her baby this week so maybe thats why she isnt getting back to me! that would make sense!
